Have We Hit Bottom Yet?

Have We Hit Bottom Yet?

There are definately signs that certain markets are turning around.  Data released yesterday indicated home sales in the United States climbed 0.3%, slightly lower than expected and although the median price of a new home dropped year-over-year, last month's value was up from March.

We are hearing and seeing slight improvements or less than expected decline on many fronts.  If you've been waiting for the perfect time to buy a home my suggestion is you may want to act now as once the market turn is certain, it is too late to get the best deal.  Sellers will be less likely to negotiate once an upward price trend is evident.  Interest rates will once again respond to market conditions rather than the "managed" situation that exists today.
